Crane systems, manufactured in Germany, are very popular thanks to strict quality requirements and high standards. However, transport costs often exceed the budget of oversea companies. Thanks to a newly developed transport concept, TEICHMANN CRANES has an attractive solution for even those customers.

One of the leading logistics service providers for chemical and petrochemical industries, Alfred Tacke GmbH, needed help for their container gantry crane. Over the years the provision of spare parts for the existing obsolete crane running wheels had become too expensive and too complex. So Cranetech GmbH was charged with replacement of the portal bogies by new modern running gears including direct drives.

Last year, the Teichmann Group carried out maintenance work on 57 cranes in the foundry of the world’s leading supplier of large diesel machines and turbomachinery in Augsburg. In order to manage this major contract, a total of 16 service specialists from differents sites of the TeichmannGroup worked together. At the same time a 25 t crane was delivered and installed by BRUNNHUBER CRANES.

For children the sports club is a place where they can make new friends or meet peers. Social integration and as well mobility, coordination ability and physical performance are promoted. That is why for many years now the TeichmannGroup is actively supporting work with children and young people in several sports clubs. BRUNNHUBER CRANES GERMANY is currently supporting a football team from Berlin and Ralf Teichmann GmbH is promoting youth work in a wrestling club.

After having concluded in the beginning of the year 2014 a general agreement for maintenance of in total 44 container cranes of Deutsche Bahn in cooperation with all affiliated sister companies, our service locations are jointly caring for all German transhipment terminals of “Deutsche Umschlaggesellschaft Schiene-Straße mbH DUSS” (German Transhipment Company Rail-Street). In the ongoing contractual period we could even achieve a customer ranking of more than 90 percent.

In the name of a huge logistics service provider, a gantry crane in steel tube construction used for container handling was reconstructed and refurbished by the TeichmannGroup. The crane specialists from Essen and from Duisburg were involved and they joined forces to accomplish the project within a very short time.

By the end of October the delivered crane components were re-painted in Königs Wusterhausen before their basic assembly and at the same time at the locations of TEICHMANN CRANES in Essen and BRUNNHUBER CRANES GERMANY in Berlin the other components were modernized and overhauled in the workshops. Now the basic assembly is about to start and the components are already on their way to the customer.

Hamburger Rieger is one of Europe‘s leading producers of high quality corrugated broad base papers. In order to further expand the capacity of the company location in Gelsenkirchen they charged TEICHMANN CRANES with modernization of a bridge crane that is used in the paper mill for transport of the paper reels.

The world market leader in steel industry charged BRUNNHUBER CRANES GERMANY and TEICHMANN CRANES with engineering, dismantling, reconstruction and manufacturing and also with reassembly and re-commissioning of a crane for one of its integrated smelting plants in Germany.
